Leaving on a jet plane

We have had a whirlwind month! We had family for every weekend, and parts of every week for the entire month of April and a week in March! It has been great! We made last minute plans in April to go visit Brandon's family in Sacramento too. So after Mike and Theresa left on Sunday night, we did laundry and packed up to fly to Sacramento on Wendesday the 5th. Mike and Theresa did a quick turn around - went home, put there house for sale, packed a few things, and drove to Sacramento on Wednesday to meet us there. We were excited to have the chance to see family and introduce many of them to Ella! (It had been too long!)

Best part about kids getting bigger...they have to haul there own stuff! We packed in carry ons to avoid astronomical bag fees...and it worked out pretty good
Don't let the picture fool you, they weren't sleeping, they were wrestling. I thought they'd fall right to sleep on an 8:20pm flight. Nope, it was about an hour (appx 11pm for us) before landing that they finally gave in.

After a long flight and a slight fiasco with the rental car people, we made it to the hotel. Uncles Kevin and David came over, anxious to see the kidos after 9 months! They stayed for awhile and we finally went to bed at 1:30am CA time...and the kids eyes promptly opened up at 7:00 am CA time. Let the fun begin!! (My day began with a big diet coke!)
