We started our Easter weekend by dying our own Easter Eggs on Friday night. With Brody's love of the Solar System, there was nothing else to do except dye each egg as a planet and then of course, we needed a sun! Brody loved it and tried to make each planet the correct color.
Easter morning the kids found their Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny had so cleverly hidden. They ate candy and opened their present (the traditional swimsuit) from Great Grandma Honey and Gramps. We spent the rest of the morning watching The Smurfs while Daddy had to go to darn church meetings.
After church we came home and the kids got all ready for an Easter Egg hunt. It rained all that day, so the egg hunt was inside. Ella's hair shows the humidity of that day - she has quite the do going on! Love the curls, just got to figure out how to tame them sometimes!
After the kids found all the Easter Eggs we had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Burton and Grandma and Grandpa Mullin. It was a beautiful Easter Sunday spent with our family and remembering the resurrection of our Savior.
