Wonder World!

The brochures for this place made it out to be bigger and better than it really was - but it didn't disappoint either. It just felt like a hillbillie tourist attraction. It has the only cave in Texas formed by an earthquake and not by water errosion. That was pretty neat.
Ella and Daddy on their way down into the cave
Brody and Ella by some of the rocks - we were allowed to touch everything (that part was really neat - most caves don't let you do that)
Brody, Mommy and Ella going even further into the cave.
This was too cute not to do...notice our two headed baby dinosaur
After the cave we went through the "Anti Gravity" house. It was gimicky but cute to see the kids try and walk around in the crooked house.
Here's us getting ready for the train ride through the largest petting zoo in Texas
We got to feed the deer right out of our hands. Brody would tell you that he got bit, but he's okay now. The deer were friendly and loved the food! These were the only animals we actually touched in the "petting zoo" so we were slightly disappointed by that, but overall it was something fun that the kids enjoyed, and it involved a train, which is still always a hit in our house.

Your vacation sounds like a fun one! It's nice that it wasn't too far away, but you were able to do so much!

Everything looks like so much fun--for Mom and Dad as well as for Brody and Ella. I do like the twoheaded baby dinosaur. What a fun way to learn all these things.
