It started with rain this morning and turned into snow by lunch time and it snowed ALL day! It was Brody's prayers answered and a Christmas miracle all wrapped into one! It was beautiful to be able to watch it come down and transform our dry brown grass into a white winter blanket. I read news reports that said we probably got between 3 and 5 inches. Its our first white Christmas ever and we are LOVING it! The snow stopped just before 8:00 tonight and there isn't anymore in the forecast - but it should stick at least through tomorrow morning. Now they are concerned about it melting and icing over the roads - lucky for us we have NO plans of going anywhere!
Tonight after everyone left Ella got to go out and eat some snow and Brody got to throw snowballs. It took about 20 seconds of crying for Brody to realize that he should drop the snow if it gets too cold in his hands. It was pretty funny. Brody was thrilled beacuse Frosty the Snowman was made of Christmas snow - so he wants to go out and make a snowman tomorrow...and it will be a lot bigger than our last one!
